Okey-Colbert, Ezinne Ugo, Mansur Aliyu

ABSTRACT
The conversion from Secretarial Studies to Office Technology and Management (OTM) is as a result of the demands of the ever-changing and computerized office environment. This change is intended for producing highly efficient groups of Information and Communication Technology aware office administrative personnel that will manage the office information systems. It has not been easy for both the educators and students since this changed occurred in the field of OTM as a result of ICT integration. This paper, however, looks into the various ICT challenges in teaching and learning of OTM in Nigerian tertiary institutions. Identification and discussion of several were made. Recommendations were made, such as training and re-training of OTM educators, collaborative efforts among educators with ICT experts, more funding, constant electricity supply for the laboratories and the organizations to collaborate with institutions for contemporary office familiarization.
